What's on offer
Includes a 1–2 week STEM placement, employability workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, competitions, alumni support, and bursaries covering travel and lunch costs.
Requirements
Applicants must be Year 12 (or Scottish S5/S6), attend a non-fee-paying non-selective school, study at least one STEM subject, and meet at least one widening participation criterion such as free school meals, first-generation university status, low-income background, caring responsibilities, or an EHCP.
Ideal applicant
Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds who are interested in STEM careers and would benefit from professional work experience, mentoring, and university application support.
