Overview

Free STEM access programme providing work experience placements, mentoring, skills workshops, and career exploration opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

What's on offer

Includes a 1–2 week STEM placement, employability workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, competitions, alumni support, and bursaries covering travel and lunch costs.

Requirements

Applicants must be Year 12 (or Scottish S5/S6), attend a non-fee-paying non-selective school, study at least one STEM subject, and meet at least one widening participation criterion such as free school meals, first-generation university status, low-income background, caring responsibilities, or an EHCP.
