Competitive summer research programme providing undergraduate students with hands-on biomedical research experience at the Francis Crick Institute.
What's on offer
Participants spend nine weeks embedded in a Crick research group, conducting an independent research project under the supervision of a postdoctoral researcher. Students receive funding equivalent to the London Living Wage and accommodation support where required.
Requirements
Applicants must typically be second-year undergraduates at a UK university (or second-year medical students) with at least one year of study remaining. Applicants must meet at least one widening participation criterion, including Black ethnicity, enhanced maintenance support, or attendance at a priority university.
Ideal applicant
Students interested in biomedical research, medicine, neuroscience, genetics, cancer research, immunology, or pursuing a future PhD or research career.
